A wedding day is made up of a multitude of unique, beautiful, authentic moments and I want to capture them all.

I’m a Boston wedding photojournalist that specializes in telling your story through candid photos.

Your relationships and the authentic moments around them inspire my images.

When you look back at your photos, I want you to see an honest, beautiful story of your wedding.

My approach as a documentary wedding photographer

Photography is often a top priority when planning a wedding - and it absolutely should be! But I believe that the photography should never come at the expense of being able to celebrate with your friends and family. My mission is to provide beautiful wedding photos that don’t pull you away from the wedding itself.

I am a documentary wedding photographer, which means that I will capture beautiful photographs in the most inconspicuous way possible. My background in photojournalism trained me to to be a witness to the story but not to involve myself in that story. This creed was engrained in me as a young photographer and I have carried it with me throughout my career. Over the years I have become an expert at knowing when to hang back and when to step in (briefly) to capture the moments.

Wedding photos that make you feel something…

Your wedding photos should transport you back into the moment, not only reminding you of the events of the wedding day, but also to bring you back emotionally and remind you of exactly how you felt. My job is to help preserve these memories for you with beautiful, artistic, documentary style wedding photography that will show you how amazing your love is.

To make it all happen, I will work with my clients beforehand to understand the major events, important people and the venue spaces. With that in place, you have nothing to do the day-of except experience and enjoy every moment and know that I’m there (somewhere!) capturing it all.

I’m always on the lookout for intimate moments, big emotion, and fun.

Every wedding photographer tells the story of a wedding uniquely. Some are drawn to romantic soft light and decor details, some to creating dramatic portraits and glamorous backdrops. I'm personally drawn most powerfully toward moments that feel unique, emotional, and special. I have an eye for spotting a tender touch or an intimate glance and for predicting a hilarious or an emotional reaction before it even happens. I look for quirky, fun, playful moments and unique perspectives to capture your story in a personal, impactful, bold, and interesting way.
