Ask me anything.

How would you describe your wedding photography style?

My style can be best described as photojournalistic or documentary. I am capturing the story of your amazing day. The moments will be undirected. My approach is to listen, watch, and wait to capture beautiful, authentic moments without getting in the way. Photojournalism isn’t just the wedding style I am aiming to create - it’s how I got my start in photography. I have a degree in Photojournalism from Syracuse University and started my professional career as a newspaper photographer. I draw on this experience to create the honest, unposed memories that you can pass down to future generations.

How soon after my session will I be able to see my images?

My turnaround time is up to 8 weeks from your wedding day. More likely than not, I will have them ready sooner, it just depends on the time of year and how many other weddings I have in the queue! Engagement, family, maternity, & newborn photoshoot sessions will be ready within 3 weeks. I always try to give a “sneak peek” or two along the way. The photos will be available to download immediately, directly to your computer. You also have the ability to share the gallery with friends & family.

Should I give you a shot list?

Please send a list of any posed family portraits you would like to get. Besides that, I do not need a shot list. I will send you sample galleries from previous weddings so you can see examples of how I tell a story. These galleries should help you decide if there is a need to make a special request.

Will you do ANY posed photos?

Yes! The only time that I will step in and direct is during family, couple, and wedding party portraits. I do my best to help things go as smoothly and efficiently as possible so you can all get back to enjoying the day.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely! I love Boston and New England but am always up for a new adventure. Let’s talk about your day and I’d be happy to give you a quote for travel to wherever you’re getting married.

How many images will I get?

This usually depends on the time we spend together. I do not guarantee a minimum number of photographs to be delivered but typically, you can expect roughly 50-75 images/hour depending on the amount of activity happening at your wedding and the number of photographers covering the event.
